Throughout his illustrious career, Hogan endured extensive physical strain, leading to multiple surgeries. Over a decade, he underwent approximately 25 to 26 procedures, including ten back surgeries, knee and hip replacements, and facial surgeries due to wrestling injuries. This period was marked by intense pain and reliance on prescription pain medications.
Lifestyle Changes and Recovery
Recognizing the toll on his health, Hogan made pivotal changes. About seven months ago, he decided to eliminate alcohol from his life after a New Year’s Eve event prompted self-reflection. He realized he was using alcohol to cope with personal and business challenges and chose to stop to regain clarity.
In addition to quitting alcohol, Hogan revamped his diet, focusing on organic foods and eliminating sugar to reduce joint inflammation. These adjustments led to a weight loss of 40 pounds, bringing him down to a weight he hadn’t seen since ninth grade.

Today, Hulk Hogan reports feeling revitalized and clear-headed. He maintains a consistent workout routine and emphasizes the importance of health over numbing discomfort.
