Serena Williams Becomes the Perfect Mom for Daughter Olympia As She Prepares a Heartfelt Homemade Surprise

The Williams-Ohanian household is buzzing with culinary activity! Serena Williams‘ husband, Alexis Ohanian, preparing creative pancakes for their daughters is a usual site for fans. However, who do the sisters call when they want some impromptu delicacy to relish? To their mom. In a surprise turn of events, Williams donned a chef’s hat for Olympia as she tried to perfect this recipe. The outcome would certainly make your mouth water to taste it!

Serena Williams shared her cooking skills with her fans through her Instagram account. Dressed in a red Nike T-shirt and pink skirt, and mumbling a tone, Williams is seen engrossed in making a perfect roasted chicken for Olympia. She can be seen putting some butter on top of the chopped vegetables, chicken, and some spices in a box. “It’s really crispy with the butter,” remarked Williams. Even her youngest daughter, Adira, can’t resist the delicious aroma and gives her mom’s dish a stamp of approval.

Finally, the food comes together on a plate filled with some green broccoli, mashed potatoes, roasted chicken, and rice! What could be better than a heartfelt homemade meal to satisfy Olympia and Adira’s appetite? Though this also looks similar to Williams’ mother’s chicken recipe, which is her favorite dish to date.

Though it seems that gravy was missing from the plate, with a few additions and omissions, they are eating their mom’s favorite dish! Moreover, when Williams was asked if she “could eat a meal cooked by any chef in the world, who would it be?” The tennis legend had just one word to say, “Mom”! It seems that the trend would follow in the Williams-Ohanain household too!

Hopefully, she saved some for Ohanian. Else, the business dad unfortunately missed a mouthwatering treat! And this time, maybe she would have to take him out on a date night, in a follow up to their Mexican snacks date. Moreover, back in 2013, during an interview, Williams somewhere revealed her famous roast chicken recipe!

Over a decade ago, Serena Williams recited her homemade roasted chicken recipe to “Bon Appetite.” When the interviewer asked her to recite one recipe by heart, she said,

The easiest is my roasted chicken recipe. I make it French style. I put whole cloves of garlic all over the dish. Some under the skin, some inside the chicken, some inside the pan. I put butter on top of the bird, and butter inside the gut. It’s not a light dish! I add only a little salt and pepper, not too much. Then I throw small baby onions everywhere, drizzle olive oil on top, and roast away.”
