After an absence of nearly two decades, Chrissie (played by Tracy-Ann Oberman) is making a surprising reappearance in the East End. The straight-talking character was a regular on the BBC One soap from 2004 until 2005 leaving a significant impression on Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).

Chrissie, along with Sam Mitchell and Zoe Slater, confronted evil Den, resulting in his brutal death. The episode was viewed by 14.34 million people, with “almost 60% of possible viewers” tuning in to witness Chrissie killing Den.
In 2005, Chrissie exited the Square when she was incarcerated for Den’s murder. However, 19 years later, the soap legend is set to return to Walford for a brief stint later this year, reports the Daily Star.
But before her comeback, EastEnders fans have been quick to speculate about what brings her back to the place she despised, with some convinced she has a child that was Den’s – implying it’s Sharon’s adoptive brother.
