Breaking News: Coco Gauff Reviewed Challengers on Instagram Live Right After Leaving the Theater

It seems like the whole world watched Challengers this past weekend, including Coco Gauff. The 20-year-old tennis player made sure to tell the world she had time to watch Luca Guadagnino’s latest film despite her busy schedule, taking to Instagram literally right after watching to share her honest thoughts.

On April 28, Coco Gauff, who’s currently in Spain competing in the 2024 Madrid Open, went live on her Instagram account with her mom to share her review of Challengers. “Guess what movie I just got back from watching. Make your guess,” she told her viewers, holding two magazines featuring the movie’s official poster — yes, the same that Zendaya wore as a dress over the weekend — with the translated Spanish title, Rivales. “Anyone But You? No, y’all be for real. What movie did I just watch? C’mon now. What other movie would I be seeing? No shade, I like Sydney Sweeney, but it’s Challengers, weekend baby.”

Gauff started her review by addressing the film’s ending, trying not to give out too many spoilers. “The ending, I’m very like, ‘Why did it end like that?’ I don’t know; Everybody was like, ‘What?’, so now I’m like, is there going to be a part two, or is it a one-off? I don’t really know.”
