Brittany Mahomes ‘Happy Not to Be Pregnant and Tired all the Time’ Weeks After Welcoming Daughter Golden
Brittany Mahomes is stepping into the next phase of motherhood with a smile.
Weeks after welcoming her third child, daughter Golden Raye Mahomes, with her husband Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Current co-owner, 29, couldn’t be more elated.
Ever since I have been home from having golden I have had a green recovery score (except the first night),” she wrote on her Instagram Stories on Monday, Feb. 3.
Brittany continued, “I’m very confused but I also am just happy to not be pregnant and tired all the time. Less sleep better recovery?? Make it make sense.”
She tagged Whoop, a wearable health and fitness coaching app, in the post as she showed off her progress.
In the photo prior, the mother of three shared a Boomerang sitting outside, admiring the clear skies.
What a beautiful day it is wow,” she wrote over the video, adding a heart-eyed emoji. “Golden girl sees the sun for the first time today.”
In addition to the newborn, Brittany and Patrick, also 29, are parents to daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE ahead of Golden’s arrival, Brittany shared how her partnership with Crate & Kids helped her design the perfect nursery for the newest Mahomes member.
“Our life can be hectic, especially with two little ones running around, so our goal was to make this space serene and calming,” Brittany told PEOPLE. “I love a cozy, moody vibe and felt like the dusty rose was a peaceful palette and something that she could grow into.”
She admitted that while she took the lead, her NFL star husband did weigh in on how they wanted the space to look and feel.
