Angel Reese spoils Paige Bueckers’ trip to see someone very special
As Paige Bueckers gears up for the 2025 WNBA draft, she’s getting a taste of the professional basketball environment. Bueckers is seizing every opportunity to support her teammates and soak in the high-intensity atmosphere, as she’s been seen cheering for Aaliyah Edwards on the international stage and rooting for Nika Muhl as she pursues her WNBA dreams.
Recently, Bueckers attended a game at Climate Pledge Arena, where the Seattle Storm played against the Chicago Sky. There to support Muhl, Bueckers spoke about her friendship with her former teammate and her excitement in watching Muhl’s journey in the WNBA.
“I’m taking a west coast trip,” she noted.
“I’m done with summer workouts. And just decided to come visit my twin. So I’m excited to be here
It’s crazy, super surreal. Just to watch her live out her dreams and just to know that a few months ago we were basically living together. So, its definitely surreal and I’m super proud of her.”
The Seattle Storm, despite all starters scoring in double digits for a total of 74 points, couldn’t hold off the Chicago Sky. Chennedy Carter and Angel Reese were dominant, combining for 60 points. The Sky’s strong third-quarter surge proved too much for the Storm, who suffered from a lack of bench support and ultimately fell by four points.
