Carole Middleton is supporting the royal couple as Kate continues her recovery process.
The Princess of Wales announced in March that she had undergone preventative chemotherapy after cancer was found in tests conducted following her abdominal surgery at the London Clinic earlier this year.
Princess Kate is not expected to return to public-facing duties for the foreseeable future as she continues her treatment
Prince William may begin undertaking royal engagements again following the Easter break when his children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis return to school.
The Prince of Wales was seen with Carole Middleton in a pub in North Norfolk just days ago according to the Mail.
Princess Kate did not join her husband and mother at the venue.
A source told the publication: “It was all very low-key, with no great fanfare.
“He just walked in and through the pub. He appeared to be with Carole Middleton.”
Last month, the Princess of Wales announced that she has been diagnosed with cancer in an emotional video message to Britain.
The princess confirmed that she has told her three young children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, about her diagnosis.
Kate said: “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.
“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”
“This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.
